Get Your Pets Fixed for $20 or Less!
AnimalKind’s program, THE $20 FIX, offers a way to spay or neuter dogs and cats for $20 or less.   You can use this program if you are a resident of Caswell County and:
         1.) You participate in Medicaid, NC-Health Choice, Food Stamps, Work First, Section 8, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), Emergency Assistance (EA)
or Energy Assistance (EFF).
        -OR-
        2. Your total household income is at or below 150% of the poverty level.

Caswell Pet Lifeline operates Planned Pethood low cost spay/neuter services on the 3rd Monday of each month.
Medical services are performed by the Humane Society of the Piedmont in Greesnsboro.  Call 336-388-2805 for information and reservations.

Cost:  $50 for cats and $65 for dogs, there is a surcharge for pets over 70 pounds

Required:  Paper copy of pets rabies vaccination certificate (tag is not sufficient)
An extra $10 will be charged for all pets without proper rabies paperwork

How: Pets travel in individual carriers in a heated, air conditioned truck starting from Yanceyville at the Food Lion Shopping Center (by McDonald’s) at Hwy 86 & 158 at 8:00 am.  on the 3rd Monday of each month.  After surgery the pet will spend the night on a clean, dry surface for the surgical glue to dry under vet observation, and return to Yanceyville on the following Tuesday morning at 10:00 am.
Please note: Pet carriers will be provided for owners who do not have them.
Some extra services and vaccines are also available for extra cost.
