Pet Overpopulation Patrol

For Caswell County Residents…

The POP (Pet Overpopulation Patrol) mobile spay/neuter van has added the Food Lion Shopping Center (by McDonald’s) at NC Hwy 86 & 158 as a new location.

THE $20 FIX helps Caswell residents of limited income spay or neuter up to 4 cats or dogs per household for $20 each, shots included. There are many ways to qualify; one is if you have a Medicaid card. Applying is easy and help is available.

If approved by mail, then call for an appointment with POP. If you have questions call Dorothy Carscadden at (336) 694-5889 and leave a message or call Animalkind at (919) 870-1660.

If you don’t qualify for THE $20 FIX please call POP (919-942-2250) for an appointment for your pets at their deeply discounted regular prices, for those of any income group or location.

More help for pet owners: A new toll free number for the SpayNC Helpline is 1-888-623-4936. Any resident of NC in any area or income group can call for information about reduced-cost spay/neuter near them. Leave a message.

Appointments are required for all services and all surgeries include a comprehensive wellness exam.
