Outdoor Shelter Requirements (๐๐๐ก๐: ๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ก๐๐.)
โข Must be an enclosed weatherproof shelter made specifically for that animal and protect that animal from exposure to the weather elements, such as cold, rain, ice, sleet, or snow.
โข Must be accessible to the animal and a sufficient size for the pet to stand, turn, and lay down.
โข Must be elevated off the ground enough to keep water, ice, snow, and sleet from entering the shelter.
โข Must provide the animal with shavings or straw to provide insulation.
โข Crates, carriers, under houses/ vehicles, or barrels are NOT acceptable shelters.
Cold weather can turn deadly fast!
