If your pet is missing, PLEASE call the shelter immediately at (336) 694-4921. Unclaimed, unadopted animals must be euthanized. See our helpful tips about finding a lost pet.

Volunteer

Come and join the APS Caswell team as a volunteer!  You will provide valuable help when we need it most – we couldn’t make it without you. Activities may include walking dogs, washing dishes, helping with pet photos and more.  Stop by the Shelter and fill out an application today!  Our volunteers must be at least 15 years old.  Questions, call 336-694-4921.

COVID-19 Update

Out of an abundance of caution, and to protect our community and our Staff from the Coronavirus, we are implementing the following adjustments to our operations:

Public Hours – The Office is Closed at this time.  If your pet needs a rabies shot, we can provide this curb side.  Please Call (336-694-4921) or Email (apscaswell@yahoo.com) to make an appointment or for questions, etc.

Adoptions:
Please fill out a Dog Adoption Form or Cat Adoption Form. Then call the Shelter at 336-694-4921 to make an appointment to visit the animal(s) you are interested in adopting. ANIMALS VIEWING IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

Donations – Yes Please!:
Your support is still greatly needed now as resources are getting low.  Donations can be dropped off at the After Hours Drop box (big green shed) to the right of the Shelter.  Please call first to let us know you are on the way.

Pet Emergency Surrenders: Please Note-WE ARE FULL
Place all pets to be surrendered in the After Hours Drop Box (big green shed) to the right of the Shelter.  PLEASE fill out the short paperwork with the pet as it will greatly help us in taking care of the pet.

Thank you for understanding and adapting with us during this time. We are stronger together (even if we aren't in the same room).
