Oakwood Elementary does it again!

This past Monday blessings came again from the wonderful kids and staff at Oakwood Elementary through their program of the Angel Tree Store.   APS Caswell received a wonderful donation of $92.15!

The Angle Tree Store, organized by Sue Cumbo and donations from the staff at Oakwood, gave the students the ability to purchase Christmas gifts for friends and family.  It was also a wonderful learning opportunity for the children to learn budgeting and helping others with the proceeds being donated to several places in Yanceyville.

We are truly blessed by their donation and support!
Happy Holidays to all!

Little extra help for Wyatt

Wyatt came to our Shelter with issues of his rear legs.  He was already neutered and heart worm negative.  We knew that what ever was going on would cost a lot of money to fix.  We reached out to Dr. Quentin Hodges at Carpenter Vet Hospital in Cary.

Dr. Hodges has helped us out on many occasions with dogs needing extensive treatment.

Dr. Hodges examined and determined he had Medial Luxating Patellas.  He will be needing two surgery’s.

If you would like to help Wyatt get back up and ready for his new family, please donate directly to Carpenter Vet Hospital in Cary, NC for Wyatt’s care. Wyatt will have a wonderful life, pain free.

Many thanks to Dr. Hodges and all the wonderful staff at Carpenter Vet Hospital in Cary!!

Special Friends and Hugs

Last Friday the Animal Shelter got a wonderful surprise from the Zattiero’s!  Aunt Jennifer brought her three nieces Cecilia, Zoe, and Jennifer to the Shelter.  Cecilia did a school project about our Shelter.  Lots of hard work went into that project.  They also treated us with fresh hot donuts and milk.  Apache couldn’t have any donuts, so he got some extra love time.  Jennifer is also one of our foster moms.

Many thanks to the to all!
